Some of the duties you will be performing in this role are:
* Accomplish all facets of aircraft sheet metal and structural repair, maintenance, modification and component installation * Disassemble, repair, patch, re-work, fabricate and install complex internal & external aircraft structural items and assemblies * Plan, lay-out, fabricate and install modifications * Conduct inspections, corrosion repair, component removal and installation, and operational checks * Interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, blueprints and schematics * Assist aircraft mechanics and avionics technicians with various tasks * Accomplish removal and disassembly of defective parts * Accomplish assembly and installation of replacement parts to include final operational checks * Operate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments * Complete all required maintenance records in an accurate and timely manner * Tow and park aircraft * Present a clean and neat work area to our customers * Support all company policies and safety programs to include AS9100, OSHA and EPA guidelines * Perform various additional duties as assig
Requirements:
To be considered for this position you must have at least six (6) or more years of aircraft structures experience encompassing depot maintenance, modifications, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and line maintenance. Your experience needs to cover a variety of airframes and modifications.
Some of the specific qualifications we require are:
* Must be able to work independently, or as part of a team, with little or no supervision * Must be willing to work long hours as necessary, while adhering to strict regulatory specifications and guidance * Must comply with the FAA and DoD’s anti-drug/alcohol misuse and prevention programs that include random drug testing * Must be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, crawl, twist, bend, lie on creepers, gain entry to and work in confined areas, and work from elevated platforms (reached from ladders and powered lifts) * Must be able to lift, carry, move, push, pull and install 30-50 lb components unassisted, have 20/20 corrected vision, good hearing, and be willing to wear all required safety equipment (Personal Protective Equipment – PPE) * Ability to pass an Industrial Class Fit for Duty Physical.

Desired Experience: * Preferred selection will be given to candidates possessing a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) endorsed Airframe & Power Plant License * Previous heavy structures or avionics background a plus * Previous fuel cell / fuel repair work a plus * Previous engine and/or propeller work a plus * Candidates possessing both military and civilian aviation maintenance experience a plus * Previous experience working C-130 and/or KC-135 aircraft a plus * Ability to pass an Industrial Class Fit for Duty Physical.
