Aviation Liaison Officer / System Engineer will support the definition, design, development, implementation and testing Army Aviation integration into network experiments. Focus areas will be on architecture, tactical communications, software, and integration/test support of the supported programs. Current knowledge of Army battle command architecture and systems is essential and knowledge of Army Aviation systems and doctrine is preferred. The selected candidate must demonstrate a history of involvement with Army tactical network architectures, tactical communications, C4ISR software and/or Army Aviation. Individual must have upper staff level experience with staff coordination/interaction with ASA(ALT), PEOs and / or PMs; industry, and acquisition organization. Engineer/LNO will be required to rapidly acquire expertise on new C4ISR systems to include both technical and operational understanding enabling development of appropriate integration strategies. Engineer will be required to support the development of architectures, concepts of operation, testing and other activities required to integrate Army Aviation into emerging Army networks.
Primary Duties:
1. Support requirement analysis and systems engineering processes.
2. Support the software development team in respect to requirements and architecture.
3. Coordinate with various stakeholders for integration of capabilities.
