Flight Attendants perform a variety of services to provide for the safety and comfort of our passengers. Flight Attendants must be prepared to handle inflight security issues and emergency situations. The position requires the individual to deal effectively with people in a professional manner. All applicants must apply on-line and be willing to relocate to assigned base.

- Washington, DC
- Philadelphia, PA
- Norfolk, VA
- LaGuardia, NY
- Raleigh-Durham, NC
Employment is contingent upon:
1) Successful completion of the selection process. This includes a FAA-mandated ten (10) year background and fingerprint check, and a pre-employment drug test.
2) Successful completion of AWAC’s FAA-approved Initial Flight Attendant Training Program.
Schedules
In almost all cases, new Flight Attendants start on “reserve" status. This involves being on-call 19 or 20 days per month. New Flight Attendants should be prepared to work weekends and holidays. Schedules are determined by seniority.
Compensation
Wages for Flight Attendants are set by the collective bargaining agreement between AWAC and the Association of Flight Attendants (AFA).
