• Repair and maintains systems used for aircraft navigation and radio communications, weather radar systems and other instruments and computers that control flight, engine and other primary functions
• Perform inspections, make adjustments and repair, replace components, and correct any malfunction or deficiency with and without power applied to aircraft
• Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with applicable technical data, SOPs and FAA/JAA regulations
• Access, remove and re-install aircraft components including mechanical and electrical which obstruct their performance of assigned repair/replace tasks
• Assist with repairs on off-aircraft components such as switch panels, circuit breaker panels, and junction boxes
• Perform basic mechanical and electrical removals and installations
• Perform troubleshooting of all systems installed on the aircraft
• Document work performed
• Fabricate parts/wire harness and install per engineering drawings
• Assist in troubleshooting off-aircraft components such as switch panels, circuit breaker panels, and junction boxes
• Comply with all environmental health and safety policies and procedures
• Perform other tasks such as cleaning aircraft using approved materials, methods and equipment
• Assist in updating and completion of work orders and operation details
• Assist with on-going maintenance tasks when avionics specific tasks are complete

• 3 – 10 years experience desired working on turboprop aircraft
• 3 years experience desired working on pilot static systems, transponders, avionics troubleshooting, AOA probes and auto pilot systems
• 3 – 10 years experience desired troubleshooting airframe electrical systems
• Knowledge of reading and interpreting drawings, diagrams, AMM’s, IPC’s, CMM’s, SB’s, SL’s and AD’s
• Knowledge of looking up aircraft SB’s and AD’s
• Knowledge of properly signing off aircraft documentation
• Knowledge of the required paper work that should come with parts that are being replaced on aircraft
• Knowledge of CFR FAR part 91
• Knowledge of operating aircraft ground support and equipment
• Knowledge of aircraft fueling/defueling operations
• Knowledge of using pitot static testers, transponder testers, IFR 4000 tester, IFR 6000 tester, down loading aircraft data for troubleshooting and use of maintenance computers
• Ability to obtain a DOD secret security clearance required
• Willing to relocate to Texas
• Able to pass physical
• Able to lift 70lbs
• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA
• Must be proficient using computers
