Reporting to the VP Business Development, the Sales Executive will develop and implement long-term profitable sales growth through repeat and new business. As such the Sales Executive will play an important role in providing corporate direction and strategy input, contributing market knowledge, sales expertise and details in line with the company’s sales and business development efforts and progress. The day-to-day responsibility involves the management and execution of aggressive sales efforts to ensure identification, qualification, pursuit and closing of business, for increased market share of the MRO business, cross selling passenger-to-cargo conversions and other modifications for aircraft on the company’s Ops Specs with emphasis on Boeing 737, 757 and 767. The responsibility for sales includes market competitiveness, pricing and industry intelligence.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Identify, quote, negotiate and close business in accordance with company objectives, quotas and policies.
· Define Sales Strategies and target accounts in collaboration with the VP Business Development.
· By consulting closely with the Proposals Manager and the VP Business Development, ensures sales contracts safeguard CJ’s interest while meeting agreed upon customer expectations and deliverables at the best price possible for CJ.
· Collaborate with members of the Executive Leadership Team, set corporate sales strategy and revenue goals. This includes evaluating new business opportunities for growth.
· Working closely with the VP Business Development, to lead the development of pricing policies, including incentive discounts and terms and conditions, for high-profile customers.
· Establish a business development process for early detection of prospective business and subsequent lead qualification.
· Develop and execute lead programs, Marketing Plans contemplating direct marketing, internet marketing, advertising, PR and other promotional initiatives in collaboration with the VP Business Development.
· Attend Domestic and International Exhibitions and Trade Shows and make promotional presentations as required.
· Work closely with Operations to ensure customer satisfaction through timely and high quality product and service delivery.
· Provide frequent accurate and candid reporting to the VP Business Development and the Executive Leadership Team on the sales pipeline and business development progress also using the company’s CRM system.
· Work closely with other departments for problem analysis and resolution and any other collaborative undertaking necessary to meet corporate sales goals and conflict resolution.
· Provide market intelligence to help refine and focus the company’s product and service offering with the objective of attracting and retaining high value customers and developing strategic indispensable relationships that lead to long term, high value sales growth.
· Maintain customer relationships for repeat business also developing and implementing strategies for expanding the company’s customer base.
· Establish forums for strengthening customer relations and improve retention.
· Support the VP Business Development with other business activities as needed.
· Lead by example at all times; through professional behavior, commitment to the company and compliance with its policies.
