· A&P Inspector with NDT that ensures the airworthiness of customer aircraft and ensures that regulatory and company requirements are met. This Inspector maintains proper communication and coordination between Production and Inspection personnel to deliver the customer’s product on time, in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies/procedures. The A&P Inspector complies with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Quality Procedures (QPs), and local work instructions. They accomplish his/her duties while maintaining a positive outlook and pleasant manner.
· A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate required. Must be appropriately certificated in accordance with 14 CFR Part 65.
· Demonstrated technical ability on specific airframes and engines in the areas of inspections, maintenance, preventive maintenance, alterations, and repairs.
· Demonstrated ability to locate and apply FAA regulations, Advisory Circulars, Orders, and Notices etc.
· To be thoroughly familiar with the I.P.M. and all subsequent revisions.
· Demonstrated ability to prioritize and plan work activities in an organized manner.
· Keep abreast of FAA Regulations, Airworthiness Directives and Manufacturer’s Service Bulletins.
· Ensure that Aircraft Maintenance Modifications, Inspections, Painting, etc., meet FAA, Customer’s and Company Standards of Quality.
Ensure that all inspections on aircraft are thorough and accomplished according to customer’s work cards and within the parameters of their General Maintenance Manual (G.M.M.) and Operation Specification, or applicable F.A.R.
· Ensure that inspection item’s are complied with in accordance with the applicable Maintenance Manual, Structural Repair Manual, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins or Customer supplied data, i.e.; Engineering Orders, etc.
