MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Education: A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred OR Education: Graduation from a standard four-year high school or equivalent (GED); AND Possession of Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) Commercial Pilot Certificate with a valid first class medical certificate AND A multi-engine rating and experience applicable to the type of aircraft assigned; AND An instrument rating and adherence to Federal Aviation Administration proficiency requirements; AND Captains must have a minimum of 3500 total flight hours; 2000 as pilot-in-command; 250 as PIC in type; 1500 multi engine; 300 instrument time First Officers must have a minimum of 2500 total flight hours; 1200 as pilot-in-command; 500 multi engine; 150 instrument time AND Possess United States Citizenship AND
Pass a satisfactory ARG/US, TSA, PRIA, and drug test; and have no aircraft accidents, incidents or violations in the last 5 years; no DUI/DWI offenses in the last 5 years.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included.
- Operates multi engine aircraft to provide commercial charter transportation.
- Performs minor maintenance and inspection duties to ensure airworthiness of aircraft.
- Completes required paperwork and prepares reports and documentation.

EXAMPLES OF WORK:
Examples of work performed in this classification include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Performs standardized pre-flight and post-flight inspections of aircraft, engines, and any other equipment installed on the aircraft.
- Performs pilot-in-command duties or pilot second-in-command duties.
- Ensures airworthiness of aircraft prior to each flight through performance of pre-flight inspection and research of flight history
- Tests aircraft after required maintenance is performed.
- Performs low level, close proximity, and high performance maneuvers when necessary.
- Interprets weather phenomena that may create dangerous conditions while in flight.
- Reads and interprets aerial navigational charts.
- Orders and controls necessary supplies for assigned aircraft.
- Prepares reports for proper authorities as required.
- Participates in refresher courses and proficiency training.
- Performs related or similar duties as required or assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Vision: Requires the ability to perceive the nature of objects by the eye.
Near Acuity: Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less.
Midrange: Clarity of vision at distances of more than 20 inches and less than 20 feet.
Far Acuity: Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more.
Field of Vision: Ability to observe an area up or down, left or right while eyes are fixed on a given point.
Depth Perception: Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distance and space relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are.
Accommodation: Ability to adjust focus.
Color Vision: Ability to identify colors.
Speaking/Hearing: Ability to give and receive information through speaking and listening skills.
Motor Coordination: While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
