Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent. Airframe and Power Plant License. Have at least 2 years prior work experience on ATR-42/72 airframe, engines and structures
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal. Must have a valid driver’s license Must be able to qualify for a US Passport. Must be willing and able to work all shifts and weekends, as might be assigned. Must be willing and able to travel away from home for extended periods as required. Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision. Must have a working knowledge and use of MM, IPC, SRM, CMMm’s, CMMv’s and other manufacturers repair and troubleshooting documents. Must have a good working knowledge of current FAA regulations. Must be able to read and interpret aircraft system schematics, wiring diagrams, SRM drawings and instructions. Must be able to operate all required ground equipment required by the various inspection functions. Must be familiar with the installation and rigging of aircraft flight control surfaces. Working knowledge in the use of basic hand measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges etc.) and other related hand tools required by the inspection function.
