VSC is looking for qualified candidates to provide quality electro-mechanical inspection support. The individual will need experience with first article inspection (FAI) and source inspections to approve manufactured items completed and presented for customer buy-off. Commodities include printed wiring assemblies (PWAs), Printed Wiring Boards (PWBs) and end-unit box builds. This is a contract assignment (1099 form) with an expected workload of 2-3 days/week. 

Specific skills required are:

• IPC-A-610 (certification or knowledge of the spec is acceptable)
• AS9102
• GD&T (ASME/ANSI Y14.5)
• MIL-STD-105
• Electronics Inspection
• Electro-mechanical Inspection

Training will be provided prior to the start of the assignment. Candidate will have to take a test to qualify for the assignment. Test will consist of identifying defects on a PWB relative to IPC 610 specification. Time and expenses related to testing / interviews are not reimbursable.
