Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services Inc. is a state-of-the-art helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul provider for Engines, Dynamic Components, Structures and Avionics. 

We have an immediate opening for two a Contract Avionics Technician for the Avionics Department.  This position will report directly to the Supervisor, Avionics.  The position will be based in the Langley Airport, Hangar 14.  This contract will be for a six (6) month term.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Maintenance & installation of avionics and electrical systems fitted to aircraft
Ensuring all applicable AD’s, SB’s, modifications, SL’s, etc. are complied with
Recording work on Company build sheets or applicable forms
Following established maintenance techniques and adhering to standards
Placing basic parts orders
Submitting completed estimate sheets and product status reports

Formal, recognized training (BCIT or equivalent) an asset
Understanding of technical documents
Understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations
Strong leadership and motivational skills
Familiarity with current aviation regulations and standards
Excellent troubleshooting skills and knowledge of aircraft avionics systems
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Must be able to travel and work overtime as needed
AutoCad an asset
