Job Desc:

ATAC is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic professional to be a part of our growing safety management team. Our corporate tenet is that no task has priority over safety and this is reflected in all aspects of our operations. This position will support our three locations (Newport News, Pt. Mugu, California, and Hawaii) in the overall development, maintenance and ongoing evolution of our Safety Program.

The candidate will:

Promote a safety culture across the company
Work closely with Operations/Maintenance Departments to implement the Safety Programs
Participate in reactive/proactive reporting, investigating, analysis and trend monitoring processes
Be responsible for the Environmental, Health and Safety function for ATAC, those duties are identifying and evaluating hazardous conditions, conducting and coordinating on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and work safe practices

Requirements:

Candidate must have:

5+ years of Safety management and Leadership Experience
BS in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene or Environmental Sciences or related discipline preferred
Knowledge of Aviation Environment highly recommended
Must be able to develop, implement and coordinate comprehensive health and safety accident prevention programs
Strong PC, verbal and written skills are required
