The Customer Premium AEROTEC’s core business comprises the development and manufacture of metal and carbon fibre composite aircraft structures and the associated equipment and production systems. The aim of Premium AEROTEC over the coming years is to further expand its position as the leading tier 1 supplier of civil and military aircraft structures. Even today, Premium AEROTEC has taken a leading position in the aero structures business and is represented in all of the major civil and military aircraft programmes (Airbus A318-A321, A330/A340, A350 XWB, A380, Boeing 787, A400M, Eurofighter, Tornado and UAVs). The company is the world’s largest supplier of aircraft fuselage structures to Airbus, and is the only provider in its sector with many years of experience in both civil and military aircraft construction. The Position · Performance of static stress calculations, sizing of primary structures (analytical, FEM) · Preparation and updating auf FE-models and evaluation of the results · Preparation and updating of stress reports · Control of stress reports and construction drawings · Manufacturing support (constructive deviations, participation in design-to-cost-projects, provisions for constructive aspects) · Presentation of work results · Coordination with construction and lifecycle department · Coordination with the customer · Definition of structural tests and their evaluation · If need be visits to the customer for coordination purposes All activities of this position will have to be executed for the project A380 IIFLE Bathtub. The position will be located in Augsburg, Germany

| Requirements: | Qualifications: An engineering degree is a "Must" · A degree in aerospace engineering or similar · Several years of experience structural mechanics (Stress /F&DT), metal and composite structures · Knowledge in MS Office, HSB, Bruhn; ESDU, Niu, FEM (Nastran / Patran) · Knowledge of F&DT for composite components · Team oriented, resilient, responsible, flexible · Fluent English negotiating skills |
