Premium AEROTEC’s core business comprises the development and manufacture of metal and carbon fibre composite aircraft structures and the associated equipment and production systems.

The aim of Premium AEROTEC over the coming years is to further expand its position as the leading tier 1 supplier of civil and military aircraft structures. Even today, Premium AEROTEC has taken a leading position in the aero structures business and is represented in all of the major civil and military aircraft programmes (Airbus A318-A321, A330/A340, A350 XWB, A380, Boeing 787, A400M, Eurofighter, Tornado and UAVs). The company is the world’s largest supplier of aircraft fuselage structures to Airbus, and is the only provider in its sector with many years of experience in both civil and military aircraft construction.

The Position

·         Preparation of numerical and experimental F&DT certificates for the qualification and certification of aero structures and their repairs.

·         Support to the structural development by supplying sizing characteristics under regards of the required (or expected) operational stress and strain, material characteristics and a structural form adapted to the aircrafts life span.

·         Support to production in constructive deviations.

·         In-Service support of the customer.

·         Support of test activities during full-scale and component testing

·         Support of flight test activities

All activities of this position will have to be executed during the design, certification and operational phase of the project A380 IIFLE Bathtub.

The position will be located in Augsburg, Germany

·         A degree in aerospace engineering or similar

·         Several years of experience in F&DT

·         Knowledge in the tool DAMTOL

·         Knowledge of F&DT for composite components

·         Team oriented, resilient, responsible

·         Fluent English negotiating skills
