Description: RESPONSIBILITIES: Routing wire bundle harnesses will be primary function but may include the following as well. As an Aircraft Assembler, perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical sub/assemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations. Work in assigned manufacturing production department to learn and perform a variety structural assembly operations, fastener installation, and inspection duties while working from electronic models, manufacturing specifications, procedures, and instructions. Drill, edge fill, fit and assemble a variety of detail parts, skins and assemblies. Inspect for proper installations and integrity. Approve and stamp acceptable assemblies and reject assemblies not meeting requirements. Perform delegated Production Accountability duties associated with the processing, verification, quality auditing and inspection of assemblies, parts and tooling. Maintain necessary documentation and records. Refer any unusual problems to supervision. Keep work areas clean and orderly. May work in aft body assembly, mid body assembly or final assembly. Perform other related duties as required.

REQUIRED EXPRIENCE: Ability to read and interpret blue prints and schematics. 4-10 years electrical experience. Ability to use basic hand tools. Install harnesses on mid-body utilizing WHIDS and engineering instructions. Must be able to work on ladders and stands for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand, kneel, sit, crouch and work in various positions on the aircraft. Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds for short periods of time. Must be able to work overhead and also while lying on the floor.
