Our client is a growing international business aviation MRO located in Illinois.  This Senior Certification Specialist will manage multiple STCs for clients in the US and internationally.  Successful candidates will have extensive FAR knowledge, STC management experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.  Excellent Project Management skills and Certification knowledge required. 

Activities might include:
• Development and execution of certification plans to support modification projects.
• Developing and maintaining STC projects.
• Managing project certification compliance.
• Conduct and coordinate meetings, technical and program reviews.
• Mentor on certification requirements, processes and procedures.
• Provides overall management of the certification deliverables

In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations and policies.
Be able to work independently or as a team to solve problems.
Must be able to promote a team environment.
Bachelors degree in a technical discipline preferred.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong organization and planning skills.  Must be able to look ahead, anticipate problems and proactively address issues.  Must be able to handle multiple projects and multiple deadlines.  Strong Project Management Skills a must!
