Description: |
Our task is to train, assist, and actively advise the RSAF in the accomplishment of Organizational and Intermediate Level maintenance. This training is accomplished using a combination of English language training (basic and technical terminology), formal classroom instruction and Structured On-The-Job-Training. The objective of training is to provide the necessary skills to independently maintain the RSAF C-130 at the Organizational Level of maintenance.
We are expanding this to include Back Shop. |

Duties: |
Duties and Responsibilities
a. Reports to the Technical School OIC and functions as a Communications/ Navigation Instructor under the direct supervision of the RSAF.
b. Determines training requirements, develops, implements and conducts basic and advanced training courses in accordance with RSAF directives.
c. Plans and conducts OJT in accordance with RSAF directives.
d. Performs other related duties as directed.

Qualifications: |
Knowledge/Education
Knowledge of electronic theory, radio and, radar, including theory of transistors and solid-state components; digital techniques as applied to navigation and communication systems equipment and components; interpretation of technical orders, wiring, electronic schematics and soldering techniques is mandatory. Graduate of an accredited instructor/teacher course is mandatory. Knowledge of C-130 unique avionics communication systems, navigation systems and equipment is mandatory. Must possess knowledge of training techniques, methods of instruction, learning processes, training curriculum development, training evaluations, automated training systems/aids, use of audio-visual training aids, Computer Based Training (CBT) Systems and training reporting systems.
2Experience
Shall have at least six (6) years experience in his profession with at least three (3) years as a Technical Instructor. Shall have practical experience within the past three (3) years. Should have experience in course writing and test and measurement procedures. |
