Description: |
Our task is to train, assist, and actively advise the RSAF in the accomplishment of Organizational and Intermediate Level maintenance. This training is accomplished using a combination of English language training (basic and technical terminology), formal classroom instruction and Structured On-The-Job-Training. The objective of training is to provide the necessary skills to independently maintain the RSAF C-130 at the Organizational Level of maintenance.
We are expanding this to include Back Shop. |

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a.Reports operationally to the RSAF flying unit commander. Reports administratively to the contractor Chief Pilot/Flight Operations Manager.
b.Performs aircrew duties as instructor or basic C-130 air cargo observer in accordance with RSAF regulations.
c.Performs as a classroom and flight instructor in initial, upgrade, continuation and OJT training.
d.Supervises contractor air cargo observer personnel to ensure compliance with contract and customer requirements. Evaluates employee performance; provides counseling or administrative action, in consultation with the department manager, when required. e.Develops and administers instructional programs, examinations, manuals, regulations, plans, and other pertinent materials. Analyzes and evaluates aircrew training programs and procedures.
f.Ensures all required documentation is properly accomplished.
g.Ensures compliance with safety and flying regulations.
h.Performs other operational, training, and management related tasks as directed.

Qualifications: |
KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION
Graduation from a military loadmaster training course and aircrew instructor training course are mandatory. Must possess instructor-level knowledge in the following areas: the types, capacities and configurations of C-130 aircraft; airdrop procedures; weight and balance factors; arithmetic devices; emergency equipment and in-flight emergency procedures; loading charts, international clearance requirements and forms; principles of dispensing and preserving food aboard the aircraft; cargo restraint procedures and techniques; training techniques, and the use of audio-visual training aids and training systems. Knowledge of curriculum development and IBM-compatible computer operations are desirable.
2.EXPERIENCE
Shall have a minimum of 4,000 hours of flying time as a loadmaster; 2,000 of which must be in various models of the C-130 aircraft, and 1,000 hours of experience as an instructor loadmaster. Must have a minimum of three (3) years of management experience in flight operations environments. Must have had practical operating experience in the C-130 aircraft within the past two (2) years. Six (6) months experience with the RSAF C-130 program is desirable.
