| Job Desc: |
Responsible for inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of aircraft systems, structures, engines and associated departmental administrative duties. Shall have experience with corporate jet aircraft such as Cessna Citation; Hawker Beechcraft; Falcon; and Challenger as well as piston engine aircraft. Have drive and experience to obtain a FAA repair station certificate for the location with a view to increase volume of work. Be the primary liaison between the customer and the maintenance facility. Responsible for leading and directing the work of Aircraft Maintenance Technicians. JOB DESCRIPTION
- Perform scheduled, unscheduled or special inspections in compliance with regulatory authorities and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and perform maintenance and repairs on general aviation aircraft, engines structures, both sheet metal and composite. Repairs to a variety of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components and accessories such as propellers, starters, generators, fuel pumps, hydraulic pumps, actuators, wheels, tires and brakes. Service oil, fuel, hydraulic, nitrogen and oxygen systems; inspect and repair pitot static systems and battery services.
- Make required work order entries for discrepancies and corrective actions.
- Perform aircraft engine run and taxi, as qualified, to test system performance. Participate in maintenance test flights for system performance.
- Understand the operation of various airframe and power plant systems.
- Ensure the calibration of all shop test equipment is accurate; maintain shop calibration records and procedures, reporting discrepancies to management.
- Assist and train other technicians in repair of systems, structures and engines when needed.
- Greet incoming aircraft; verify work orders and/or service needs and obtain customerauthorisationfor work to be done.
- Development of customer proposals, quotations and bids.
- Create and administer work orders by entering data from source documents into the computer; proofread all entries to ensure accuracy.
- Track project progress and verify related billing information.
- Post labour hours, adjustments and variances as directed to ensure comprehensive historical record of all actions pertaining to a work order.
- Review and close out work orders at project completion; prepare invoices; post closed work orders to the financial system.
- Review work order and invoice with customer at completion of work and obtain customer approval.
- Serve as customer advocate by responding to customer requests, complaints and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain records of customer comments and complaints; assist management in developing methods and procedures to improve customer service.
- Run routine and ad hoc status reports as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Must [1]have experience with general aviation or corporate jet aircraft. Must possess an A&P license. Must possess a valid state driver’s license. Must have basic computer skills. Must provide all tools necessary to perform essential job functions.
