We are helping them identify talent for an immediate critical opportunity to lead a team of Avionics Integration specialists. The Avionics Engineering Manager and team will be responsible for design, certification and integration of a variety of avionics systems including but not limited to: Satcom/Satphone, Wireless LAN Units, FMS / GPS, HUD, Flight Displays, ACARS, ADS-B, and FDRs. | Requirements: | - B.S. in Engineering (Preferred, but not required) - Extensive Avionics Systems Integration Experience on a variety of systems - Project management experience. (MS Project, some project level P & L nice to have). - AutoCAD and Inventor experience preferred. - Experienced interfacing with FAA, JAA, NTSB, and / or EASA. - Self-directed/self-starter in creation of engineering designs and packages. - Experience working on large transport-category aircraft (Boeing, Airbus) preferred. - Experience operating or performing modifications on aircraft a plus. - Enjoys the challenges of working on a variety of projects. - Ability to interact with and maintain external relationships with customers.
