AVENGE, INC. is seeking a full-time, experienced Aerial Imagery Sensor Equipment Maintenance Instructors for our Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance and Surveillance System Integrated Process Team (EMARSS). This is a key position responsible for the New Equipment Training (NET) for the US Army next generation Fixed Wing C4ISR Platform.
- Current MARSS/Guardrail or similar experienced Maintainer/Instructor
- Former DoD qualified Airborne Imagery Sensor Equipment Maintainer/Instructor
- Former DoD experience – TF ODIN I or A experience desired
- King Air 200/300/350 ER experience is desired
This is a full time salaried position located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD with travel of up to 50% for program execution both CONUS and OCONUS. At this time the candidate must reside at or within reasonable commuting distance (MD, Southern PA, Northern VA, and DE) of APG.
Initially the program will have limited flying with a program focus on:
- Program of Instruction (POI) Development IAW TRADOC/DoD and ASAT Courseware
- Technical manuals and Aircrew Training Manual (ATM) Development
- SME support to Hawker Beech and Boeing
- Assisting the PM and Deputy PM with program execution
- Integrated Flight Training Device acquisition and testing
- Direct interface with Army Customers
Once the POIs are approved and the training is ready the emphasis will shift to:
- Conducting NET for the US Army – Location TBD for approx 90-120 Days
- Providing SME support to the Army Initial Key Personnel (IKP) and conduct individual qualification for selected Army, DAC and CLS personnel.
- Along with your Army counterpart, represent the EMARSS training in professional forums and events
The Airborne Imagery Sensor Equipment Maintenance Instructor will report directly to the Senior Mission Operator Instructor. In addition you will work collaboratively with the Pilots, GEOINT Payload Operator Instructor, SIGINT Payload Maintenance Instructor, customers and all related sub contractors. You will be directly responsible for the successful development, implementation and execution of the EMARSS training documents and plans of instruction for airborne sensor equipment operations.
