AVENGE, INC. is seeking a full-time, experienced Instructor/Examiner Pilot, for our Enhanced Medium Altitude Recon and Surveillance System (EMARSS) Integrated Process Team. This is a key leadership position responsible for the New Equipment Training (NET) for the US Army next generation Fixed Wing C4ISR Platform.
- Current MARSS experienced instructor pilot
- Former DoD qualified FW IP/IE and or Maintenance Pilot/Examiner
- Former DoD FW IP at Company level or higher – TF ODIN I or A experience desired
- King Air 300/350 ER experienced with Proline 21 is desired
This is a full time salaried position located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD with travel for program execution both CONUS and OCONUS. At this time the candidate must reside at or within reasonable commuting distance (MD, Southern PA, Northern VA, and Delaware) of APG.
Initially the program will have limited flying with a program focus on:
- Program of Instruction (POI) Development IAW TRADOC/DoD and ASAT Courseware
- Technical manuals and Aircrew Training Manual (ATM) Development
- SME support to Hawker Beech and Boeing
- Assisting the Senior Instructor/Examiner with program execution
- Flight Training Device testing and operating
- Direct interface with Army pilots, Boeing and Hawker Beech engineers and test pilots
- Conduct Maintenance Test Flights and ferry flights as required.
Once the POIs are approved and the training is ready the emphasis will shift to:
- Conducting NET for the US Army – Ft. Hood for approx 90-120 Days
- Providing SME support to the Army Initial Key Personnel (IKP) and conduct individual qualification for selected Army, DAC and CLS personnel.
- Coordinating/Conducting Ferry Operations OCONUS
- Coordinating and Conducting calibration of next generation aircraft
The Instructor/Examiners will report to the next generation Senior Instructor and functionally to the Avenge Chief Pilot. In addition you will work collaboratively with the Deputy PM, Senior Mission Trainer and sub contractors.
