| Job Desc: |
Manufacturing and fabricating cabinets from raw materials on aircraft including wood, honeycomb, fiberglass, sheet metal and veneers Construct interior components to the customer’s specifications
Fabricates, fit, trims and installs interior components, galleys, bulk heads, doors, side ledges, tray and conference tables
Read and interpret blue prints and engineering drawings
Inspect and inventory incoming cabinetry for existing damage
Protect and tag all items using proper interior nomenclature for part identification
Reads and interprets equipment manuals to complete all work
Completes all associated paper work thoroughly and accurately for all work accomplished
Diagnoses problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
Seeks methods to cross train to develop technical skills and business knowledge
Assist aircraft technicians when necessary - Ensure functional tests of all installed items is satisfactory
- Performs other duties as required
- Assist engineering staff and draftsmen to generate drawings and renderings
- Work with DER’s to provide structural data when necessary

| Requirements: |
High school or GED
Minimum five (5) years of experience in aviation cabinetmaking and fabrication
Wood working or wood finishing experience in a technical environment
Cabinet installation experience including fit and trim preferred - Requires excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must be flexible with shift work
