| Job Desc: |
Responsible for managing, negotiating and ensuring compliance on government contracts.
Leads a team of contract administrators.
Assesses, interprets, and reviews documents and oversees compliance of the contractual obligations for the Military Programs value streams.
Reviews and responds to Requests for Proposals (RFP’s), Requests for Quotation (RFQ’s) and Invitations for Bids (IFB’s), contract terms and conditions and participates in meetings to ensure all involved departments understand the contractual requirements.
Ensures that released proposals are properly documented in writing and agreed upon by management following internal procedures.
Negotiates contracts and contract modifications within government regulations, corporate, and business unit guidelines.
Identifies and takes exception to any undesirable terms or conditions and when appropriate, develops alternatives for management approval including internal legal staff.
Responsible for managing interface between company review meetings and customers and takes a lead role in resolving any matters affecting contract administration.
As required, prepares monthly contract status/progress reports for in-house use and/or submittal to the customers.
As required, responsible for submitting monthly invoices on CPFF and T&M contracts.
Participates and takes a leadership role in all government audits.
Provides all value stream personnel with direction and monitoring related to FAR/DFAR compliance.

| Requirements: |
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10+ years experience in Contracts Administration role supporting government contracts.
Required: - Knowledge of Federal and Defense Acquisition Regulations. - Knowledge of government invoicing systems and policies and procedures. - Experience with Fixed Price, Cost Plus, IDIQ and Time and Material Contracts. - Working knowledge of FAR 15.4, Wide Area Work flow, government property administration. - Experience working with DCAA, DCMA. - Prior experience leading a team. - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). - Excellent time-management skills to support proposals and customer requests. - Well-established negotiations skills. - US Citizenship or Green Card holder is required.
Preferred: - Prior experience within an aerospace environment.
