Requirements

VSC is looking for a qualified candidate toprovide Source Inspection support as it pertains to Quality Assurance. This project has a workload of 30 hours per on a long-term contract basis in Continental,OH. The candidate should have experience in Mechanical/Fabrication Inspection.

• Knowledge of auditing techniques both principal and application
• 10 years background in Quality Assurance within Government/Military Programs..
• Knowledge of MIL-Q-9858, MIL-I-45208, ASME/ANSI Y 14.5, ASTM Codes
• Ability to understand technical drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP), ATP Witnessing, First Article(FAI/AS/EN/SJAC/9102), In-Process,Mechanical, Fabrication, Validation, Witness
• Knowledge of Special Processes for Stress Relieving/Metal Finishing/NDT
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read a PO.
• It is mandatory the candidate has his/her own computer and a working
  knowledge of computers and transmission of work assignments. Must be computer literate because work directives and correction action follow up are all done on-line.
• A cell phone is required.
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Internet and Email
• Good communication and writing skills
• Comfortable working as Independent Contractor (1099 Tax Form)
