Job Desc:

Avionics Systems Integrator (Fixed or Rotary Wing experience)

Responsible for the integration of Avionic and Electrical systems to support the installation of aftermarket products and installations for rotorcraft aircraft completions.

Develop and produce avionics/electrical integration data required for the installation of aircraft modifications and components in the areas of aircraft electrical power, communication, navigation, autopilot, and instrumentation systems.
Convert limited modification specification information into engineering design data for use in aircraft completions.
Research and review engineering data (drawings, reports, manuals, etc.) defining aircraft systems to determine the most efficient method of integration.
Provide technical and design support during the installation phases of prototype and developed designs including providing troubleshooting assistance.
Possess expertise on avionic systems design concepts, industry design standards, and company drafting techniques.
Communicate designs, data, and specifications to shop managers/personnel in a clear, and concise manner (i.e. with the minimum of time spent, resulting in minimal errors).
Revise designs within the design criteria throughout the project without delaying the application of manpower or completion of the project.

Requirements:

Three (3) years minimum experience accomplishing avionics integration for aircraft completions, upgrades, conversions, etc (Fixed OR Rotary Wing experience is acceptable).
Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD Required.
Must possess a good working knowledge of commercial avionics equipment, aerospace electrical practices, and general aircraft modification operations.
Be a self-starter with the ability to generate alternative ideas.
