Description Pay Rate: $26/hr - $32/hr Position Overview Utilizes CATIA CAD software to produce and/or check simple and complex solid models and 2D drawings from engineering sketches and descriptions using demonstrated knowledge of military and aerospace materials and specifications along with a working knowledge of engineering and design principles. Maintains design standards for the department and supports product data management tools and processes. Primary Responsibilities • Creates and checks solid models and assemblies from engineering sketches and descriptions. • Ensures engineering intent translates into practical, manufacturability designs • Designs tooling and Aircraft component concepts using CAD systems • Supports CAD Data/PDM Data Migration to Team Center UA • Maintains/updates design standards for engineering department • Redlines drawings for Drafters to revise. • May supervise drafting efforts by others. |

| Requirements: | Required Qualifications: • AA degree or equivalent from 2 year college or technical school, and at least 10 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Experience using CATIA CAD software at least 7 years. • Experience using Team Center or similar PDM software • Tolerance Stack-up Calculations & GD&T applications • Good general computer skills, particularly with MS Office products and ability to learn new software and programs. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work well with vendors and customers. • Excellent mechanical aptitude. Preferred: • CATIA application administration experience • Multi-Platform Data Migration experience. Working Conditions • Physical requirements and environment • Office environment about 70% with moderate noise. • Prototype lab environment about 30%. |
