Goodrich Aerostructures in Riverside is seeking an experienced Milling Machine Operator to join our growing team! Responsibilities include the following:
*Running 6 Axis NC Machine.
*Set up and operator close tolerance multi axis milling machines, a thorough knowledge of machine shop practices including set up of parts and cutters.
*Use of machinist hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
*Recognition of proper machine functions and cutting actions.
*Ability to read and interpret blueprints set up sheets and shop planning.
*Use of shop math.

| Requirements: |
All applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED.
*Must be competent and experienced in all aspects of machine and part set-up.
*All qualified applicants must have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, kneel and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively throughout the day and be able to wear the necessary Personal Protective Equipment to work with chemicals.
*All applicants must have the flexibility of working varying shifts including but not limited to nights (2nd or 3rd shifts), weekends, and overtime and possibly rotating shifts.
*All candidates must have the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language and be at least 18 years of age or older.
*All applicants must be a US Citizen or a current Green Card holder.
*All applicants must pass a Valpar assessment in order to fill this opening.
Preferred:
*Lean Manufacturing Experience/Continuous Improvement
*Machinist Experience with Composites |
