Job Desc:

You will be a member of the design team responsible for the conception, specification, integration, analysis, development, test and certification of Avionics Systems for new aircraft development programs:

Your duties will include the preparation of requirements, documents for equipment, reviewing and negotiating supplier proposals and the coordination with and monitoring of suppliers during the joint definition, detail design, test, development and certification phases of a program.

Your duties will also include preparing systems analysis interfacing with regulatory authorities, reviewing and preparing ground and flight test, qualification and certification plans and documents and the support of the ground and flight test programs.

Requirements:

You possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least@five (5) or more years Avionics design/certification experience. Alternatively technical qualification with a substantial level of experience and expertise will be accepted as equivalent.

You should be familiar with the specification, design, integration and acceptance of Avionics systems on aircraft.

Experience with civil aircraft and civil airworthiness regulations will be an asset.

Good oral and writing skills in English are required.

You must possess the ability to work with a minimum supervision, be a team player and be a well-motivated self-starter.

You must also be a person with initiative, strong sense of responsibility and good engineering judgment.
