Company Info: Responding to market demand, Agusta formed its North American subsidiary, then called Agusta Aviation, in 1981, with headquarters in Houston, TX. Now renamed AgustaWestland Philadelphia Corporation(AWP), to reflect its broader role and mission, the company operates out of a multi-million dollar, 75,000 square foot headquarters facility in Philadelphia, PA.

United States, Canadian, South American, and Central American sales, along with service support, are conducted from AWP. Complete support capabilities include:
  • Airframe/sheet metal fabrication
  • Components overhaul
  • Parts inventory
  • Routine inspections
  • Pilot and mechanic training
  • A109/A119 completions
  • all provided from the fly-in service hangar located within the headquarters complex.

    On October 29, 2004, AgustaWestland opened the expansion to the manufacturing facility of AgustaWestland Philadelphia Corporation, to build the A119 Koala helicopter used by civilian and law enforcement customers. This new facility adds a state-of-the-art, 40,000 square foot workspace with assembly, completion and flight-line hangar areas.

    A large professional staff is dedicated to the procurement of parts, components, and systems from U.S. and Canadian suppliers. Sources selection, contract administration, in-transit warehousing, and import/export management are all handled under one roof at the Philadelphia facility. A 15,000 square foot warehouse serves as the consolidation point for over $100 million worth of goods annually exported to Italy in support of Agusta production lines.

    • Designs, develops and improves new or existing Aircraft components utilizing CATIA System
    • Revise existing drawings
    • Designs, develops and improves new or existing Aircraft components
    • Performs analysis of components and systems
    • Follows and advises in design process and revisions throughout initial testing
    • Preparation and modification of technical documents
    Requirements:  
    • Bachelors Degree in Engineering required, Masters Degree preferred
    • Five years of engineering experience in the aerospace industry, with a track record of delivered successful results
    • Experience with CATIA v.4 and CATIA v.5
    • Experience with SAP preferred
    • Must be a highly motivated self starter who has a passion for aerospace engineering
    • Must be US citizen or Permanent Resident
