RESPONSIBILITIES: Manufacturing engineer planners are required to support the 787 Aft & Mid Body assembly in North Charleston, SC. The candidate must be capable of interrogating CATIA V5 installation requirements models and converting into workable mfg build plans in DELMIA and/or Velocity. This includes but is not limited to developing Bill of Materials, sequential work instructions and illustrations required to define and document the airplane configuration. The planner will develop tooling requirements based on mfg and/or engineering requirements. Will also resolve systemic manufacturing related issues identified on the shop floor. |

| Requirements: | REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Must be proficient in interrogating data in a windows based 3D CAD system (i.e. Catia V5, Solidworks, Solidedge, ProE, etc.). AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. WORK HOURS: 2nd Shift ADDITIONAL WORK SCHEDULE DETAILS: MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT 2nd shift -- 3:30 pm - midnight, with a 1/2-hour lunch break. |
