Job Description:

VSC is seeking a source inspector to support in Detroit, MI. area approximately 2-3 days per week. This candidate must be willing to travel to Canada from time to time for support.

Requirements:

·         Must have at least 5 years’ experience in the aerospace industry

·         experience inspecting transmission gears and other mechanical commodities is desired 

·         Must have hands on experience performing First Article Inspections to AS9102

·         Must be familiar with (GD&T) to ANSI Y 14.5 specification

·         Experience with machined parts, mechanical and electromechanical assemblies, and sheet metal parts is a plus

·         Must be very computer literate and have e-mail/Internet along with a working cell phone with international access.

·         Must be comfortable working as an Independent Contractor
