| Job Desc: |
The Aircraft Electrical Assembler will:
- Use engineering drawings, blueprints and/or schematics to remove, install and/or modify and test C-130 aircraft electrical support systems.
- Perform a wide variety of moderately complex electrical and avionics removal, layout, fabrication, installation, repair and modification on aircraft and electrical support systems to support the C-130 program.
- Interpret and follow engineering drawings, and check work correctness.
- Check, test and troubleshoot systems for conformance to specifications.
- May be a Service Contract Act (SCA) covered position.
- Sets highest ethical standards for self and others.
- Other duties as assigned.

| Requirements: |
- With H/S diploma or GED must have a minimum of 4 years aircraft electrical experience.
- Aircraft Related Assoc degree or A&P license + a minimum of 2 years aircraft electrical experience.
- Must be able to read, interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, T.O. specs and engineering specifications.
- Must be eligible to be certified to operate self-propelled vehicles such as forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts and aircraft tow vehicles.
- Must adhere to policy regarding PPE (personal protective equipment)
- Must be eligible to work any shift, weekends, a overtime hours as required.
- Must have own tools. If hired, tools must be shadowed. L-3/IS will provide the material to complete this task.
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance OR Must be eligible to access ITAR controlled items and/or articles.
