| Job Desc: |
POSITION SUMMARY Responsible to create and maintain aircraft specifications (with emphasis on Avionics and Systems configurations and selectable options) of all models of Embraer Executive Jets defined and requested by Customers and the Embraer Executive Aircraft Sales and Proposals teams.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
- Support the Customer in the selection process as a trusted advisor representing their needs and wishes in the selectable options of their aircraft.
- Prepare timely and accurate records of Customer selections including contractual amendment documentation and data to document selections of the Customer for the Embraer Executive Aircraft Business Unit.
- Assist the Design and Configuration Manager in identification of Avionics Options to consider in updating the product offerings in accordance with Embraer Executive Aircraft brand standards, Customer expectations and corporate objectives.
- Reviews and comments upon, aircraft project specifications/proposals; provides input to aircraft configuration project budgets and schedules
- Participates in aircraft project Sales, pre-Contract, Proposals and Customer configuration reviews.
- Evaluates current aircraft Avionics and Systems Option standards in the context of industry and supplier trends to identify and recommend opportunities for product improvement and/or value engineering.
- Develop technical material for each product in order to make option sales available.
- Create executive aircraft technical documents to support Contracts and Sales.
- Support the process for price definition of new options.
- Release and document aircraft manufacturing orders and status updates in the various systems and tools as defined by Embraer Executive Aircraft
- Performs other duties as assigned

| Requirements: |
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education:
- BS/BA in business management or aviation or engineering-related degree
- Advanced degree in engineering, or related curriculum is a plus
Experience:
- Five (5)+ years of aviation-related experience
- Experience in technical writing and/or report creation
- Working knowledge and direct experience with Cabin or Cockpit Avionics and System Component Installation for LRUs, antennas etc.
- Specific experience in Field Service, Technical Marketing, Technical Sales, Technical Market Intelligence or other related experience is preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Customer focused with good relationship building skills
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers.
- Knowledge of executive aircraft and the executive aviation market with particular emphasis on Avionics and System suppliers for Embraer Executive Aircraft
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Demonstrated knowledge of aircraft avionics and systems procurement, manufacturing, installation, certification and delivery processes a plus.
- Proficient computer skills with use of Microsoft office applications. Experience with SAP, MRP, or CATIA helpful
Working Conditions / Environment/ Special Requirements
- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.
- Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
- Ability to travel to Customer locations is required
