REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Able to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, engineering drawings, process specifications, written instructions and sketches and determine sequence of operations. Able to layout, setup, and operate machine tools such as: conventional/numerical controlled milling/profile machines, jig bore, engine and turret lathes, grinders, borers, honers, thread rolling machines, radial drill presses, tapping, broaching, Single and multiple spindle non-radial drill presses, and planers where methods must be devised to Able to setup and use of precision measuring instruments and accessories such as: micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, depth gauges, surface gauges, etc. to ensure product quality including first article inspection. Able to use common hand tools and power tools and equipment such as: drill motors, hammers, wrenches, hoists, dividing heads, turntables, etc. Responsible for first level maintenance, tool maintenance, repair, and storage of production tooling. Responsible for complying with all rules and regulations concerning health and safety, tool control, contracts, facilities and other pertinent coverage.
