Technical Administrative Assistants perform a wide array of projects under the direction of their supervisor/manager, with an emphasis on quality, timeliness and professionalism.
Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files; interviewing callers and making proper referrals; arranging meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering mail. Reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage; answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures. Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to supervisor’s assignment.
May take and transcribe dictation.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
•Handle confidential correspondence and screen phone calls •Maintain calendar and scheduling of appointments •Create graphs, charts, diagrams, signs, etc. , using Visio •Create spreadsheets and tables, using Excel and Word •Prepare materials for briefings and presentations using PowerPoint •Work with the Military Customer in a professional manner •Process passport and visa applications •Regular use of the Foreign Clearance Guide •Able to learn several Military computer programs ie. SPOT, APACS, IATP, JPAS, ADLS, etc. •Process and train new hires •Maintain and update Aircraft Training Records •IT Facilitation •Type memos and correspondence for SNC personnel as required •Update/maintain Lotus Notes with visitors and meetings •Clerical support including copying, scanning, PDF etc •Punctuality to work each day and prepared to work scheduled work hours •Other duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Strong typing ability MS Word and Excel capabilities Strong Organizational Skills Ability to work in a high stress environment Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance Ability to work flexable hours and overtime with short notice Ability to work varies shifts to include weekends
