General Purpose: Applies engineering principles and 
techniques in the design and analysis of aircraft aerodynamics. 
 
Job Tasks and Responsibilities: CFD analysis of client 
configurations. Complete or partial aerodynamic design of a 
business aircraft. Loads analysis for special missions, or 
commercial transport aircraft modifications. Stability and controls
 assessment of a new airplane. Applicants should have as strong
 interest in the following subjects: aerodynamic theory and 
practice, Preliminary design, subsonic to supersonic 
aerodynamic design, drag prediction, performance, stability, 
control and loads, applied Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) 
and wind tunnel and flight testing.
 
 

Education and Experience: Minimum requirement is a BS in 
aeronautical engineering, 5+ years engineering experience, and 
3+ years experience or equivalent in CFD and CAD software.  
The successful candidate should be self-motivated and have or 
be willing to seek an advanced degree in aeronautical engineering 
from a leading university. Excellent interpersonal, demonstrated 
team player, and technical writing skills. Prior experience with 
an airframe manufacturer (defense, commercial, and/or UAV) 
working in a project development environment is preferred.
