Applies engineering principles to research, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, and test air vehicle structural components and mechanical systems. This posting is for contract bid purposes Duties: • Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, designs, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
• The incumbent applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management. • Other Duties as Assigned |

| Requirements: | • Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in an engineering or physics discipline from a school where the specified curriculum was accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). • A Master’s Degree in the field of endeavor may be substituted for 5 years of general engineering experience and a PhD in the field of endeavor may be substituted for 10 years of general engineering experience. • Must have at least 6 years of professional engineering experience that consisted of performing the foregoing engineering functions. • Must have at least 2 years of the foregoing total experience will be in the field of aerospace structures or associated mechanical systems. • Must be a US Citizen • Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
