Responsible for product profitability and first level management of customer service activities of assigned product lines required for gas turbine components, including technical troubleshooting, problem solving. Essential Duties And Responsibilities: (Not listed in order of importance. Other duties may be assigned.)
- Manage Customer Service staff and activities in assigned areas, including planning, leading, organizing and controlling such functions as: work assignments, performance management and budgets.
- Manage product profitability, customer service activities for the specific product lines.
- Act as primary managerial contact point between customers, sales managers, & other DAI operating groups.
- Assist with sales proposals and cost estimate preparations for assigned product lines or areas.
- Ensure the proper staffing and training of their customer service positions with qualified and competent persons.
- Oversee the daily management of client components through company maintenance/repair processes by providing effective written & verbal customer, shop and engineering communication and tracking component movement
- Works closely with areas such as Sales, Operations, Engineering, QC, Materials and Finance to ensure both customer & company requirements are met or exceeded.
- Reviews analytical reports of such information as: log books; work-orders; product/engine input; gross margin analysis; invoice review; and service bulletin/O.E.M. review.
- Assure customers have satisfactory credit terms, coordinate with production to establish engine completion dates, and preparation/presentation of overhaul or repair cost analysis.
- Oversee the staff to monitor costs of all components on a weekly basis, update customers and sales representatives weekly on the status of the customer’s engine, and review final invoices for all engine and part work orders.
- Formulate company/departmental policies and practices and ensure that they are followed by lower level CSRs.
- Participate in various committee actions.

| Requirements: |
Formal Education/Training: College degree or high school graduate with a level of technical vocational training and knowledge normally achieved through graduation from a university, trade school or military aircraft maintenance program, or an equivalent apprenticeship program. Direct /Indirect Experience: Should have a minimum of 5 (five) plus years of progressively more complex related commercial experience in the aviation/engine service/maintenance industry. Qualifications: (Including Licenses and Certifications) A&P license with extensive technical knowledge of specific types and models of aircraft turbine engines. Must possess strong and effective written and verbal communications skills. Must possess basic accounting skills. Should be able to demonstrate reasonable PC proficiency in MS Word and Excel as well as learn any corporate or industry software used by the position.
