Jet aircraft technician provides maintenance, minor and heavy checks, AOG maintenance, structures repairs, avionics installation, avionics line maintenance, and customer support on jet aircraft. Some of the key responsibilities include electrical and systems troubleshooting. Inspection experience to meet FAA guidelines, as well as meeting the customers’ needs on a maintenance level. Minimum requirements include vocational development or on-the-job training of jet aircraft maintenance theory and troubleshooting on aviation systems, 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the fault isolation and repair of aircraft systems, and the ability to read and use schematics and blueprints. A high school diploma or equivalent is required and an Airframe & Powerplant license required.
