Our client is currently looking for a Quality Control Inspector for their 145 repair station in Naples, FL.
JOB SUMMARY The QCI is responsible for providing support for the Inspection Department and managing the Quality Assurance program. Must be able to inspect complex maintenance completed on aircraft systems and sub-systems as directed and required to meet the standards of FAA 145. The inspector must have an understanding of all the paper work related to and required for the inspection of all systems and work completed on aircraft.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform inspection, review and sign-off on aircraft mechanical, structural, power plant, interior and avionics repairs and installations - In a timely, professional, accurate, complete and neat manner initiate and complete all required paper for the FAA and other agency’s - Inspect and release aircraft to service - Monitor installations, repairs and handling of parts to assure that they are done per the Repair Station Manuals guidelines - Manage Quality Assurance program
SKILLS - Thorough understanding of Log Book documentations and required entries - Thorough understanding of FAR’s and regulations pertaining to aircraft maintenance - Proven ability to direct and assist in trouble shooting maintenance problems - Good written and verbal communication skills
