Perform assigned floor inspector functions in accordance with the approved maintenance manuals. Ensure customer’s aircraft are inspected to the prescribed standards of airworthiness and serviceability as set forth in the FAR and manufacture’s maintenance manuals ensuring all overhauls, checks, and repairs are carried out as required in applicable manuals and FAA regulations and for return to service. Assist during the opening phase of the inspection by performing inspections functions as the aircraft is being opened. Verify to insure all discrepancies detected during inspections are written up on non-routines (Form 409) work cards. Verify all verbiage on the non-routine is accurate. Assure high standards of workmanship are being attained. Certify the aircraft airworthiness after a maintenance visit by completing the Airworthiness Release Statement in the aircraft logbook.
Requirements:
Must have extensive aviation experience in Quality Assurance dealing with regulatory compliance issues. Candidate should have 3 to 5 years minimum aircraft inspector experience and prefer that candidate has completed GenFam training on CRJ airframes.
