Job Desc: PATS Aircraft Systems is a long standing VIP aircraft supplier with roots in specialty aviation component manufacturing dating back nearly 40 years. Founded on complex engineering and certification of advanced aircraft systems, PATS has provided auxiliary fuel systems and other integrated systems and components to most aircraft OEMs and hundreds of customers.

PATS maintains an employee base of skilled workers and experienced management to support both manufacturing and hangar operations. Our core staff and facility are capable of supporting up to seven B737 series aircraft for maintenance, modifications and interior completions.


PATS Aircraft Systems is currently seeking qualified individuals for our upcoming manpower needs. We are currently looking & interviewing to increase our pipeline of selected candidates for direct positions we anticipate in late spring early summer time frame.
 

 


Experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics (A level)


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


·        Accomplish assigned tasks properly and efficiently with minimal to no supervision.


·        Demonstrate an understanding of and use of the aircraft SRM, MM, IPC and applicable CMM.


·       Ability to comprehend aircraft maintenance literature and mod drawings.


·        Able to fabricate repair and modification parts.


·       Perform tasks in a manner that achieves the highest quality workmanship.


·       Accomplish planned work in compliance with company procedures and supervisors’ instructions.


·        Report un-airworthy items promptly to Supervisors as well as any problems associated with carrying out work assignments.


·        Knowledgeable in the use of basic aircraft tools and hand tools.


·       Assures all paperwork requirements are kept current with job progress.


·        Inspect own work to maintain specified standards, quality and prior to entering into inspection call book.


·        Prepares and submits all required documentation to Quality Control following completion of project.


·        Make efficient and economical use of methods and resources.


·        Maintain adequate tool inventory.


·        Follows written and verbal instructions.


·        Maintains a safe and clean working environment in accordance with company standards.


·        Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Requirements: Necessary Skills:

·        Excellent communication both verbal and in writing, as well as.


·        Ability to work extended hours when necessary.


·        Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.


·        Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.


·        Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, while setting a positive example for all employees.


 Qualifications and Experience:


·        Requires High School education or equivalent reading, writing and math abilities.


·        Five to six years in aircraft sheet Metal.


·        Additional Trade School – A&P strongly preferred.


·        Required Competencies:
