RESPOSIBILITIES:
With an applicable knowledge of the cutting parameters as related to current and advanced alloys, demonstrated ability to recognize defects in the buildup of a structure and to correctly activate and monitor all accessories utilized to maintain fastener reliability including TV cameras, grip length fasteners, control units, automatic indexing hopper feed system, light spacer unit for proper sequence fastening, critical edge distance controls on lower upset anvils, normalizing systems to maintain structures perpendicular to the pressure foot during drillings and engage prescribed safety devices to prevent part damage set up, run required checks and operate any automatic riveting machine to fasten any parts and/or assemblies that are within the capacity of the machine. Run difficult first run parts and pass on information to or record methods for use by lower-classified operators on subsequent assemblies. Perform rework as required. Disassemble anvils and cutting attachments, replace worn parts and reassemble as required. Coordinate lower-classified operators. Keep work area clean and orderly; refer unusual problems to Leadman or Foreman.

The successful candidate will typically have a high school diploma or equivalent and one to two years of experience in portable, durable tool repair. |
