| Job Desc: |
"Serve as the focal point for supplier quality requirements on specific commodities. "Interface with suppliers and/or customers to resolve concerns relating to production hardware or requirements, ensure delivered end product meets customer requirements and ensure piece part deliveries meet client requirements. "Plan, deploy and monitor Supplier initiatives. "Coordinate with FQE’s (Field Quality Engineers) on FAIs; ensure procured product meets drawings, specifications, processes, and SOW (Statement of Work) requirements. "Interpret Engineering flow down requirements, create inspection instructions (source, program, receiving) "Facilitate RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) with supply base via QNs (Quality Notifications) or SCARS (Supplier Corrective Action Requests). "Coordinate and lead supplier quality improvement initiatives, design to production transitions, and production readiness reviews. "Ensure compliance to the Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures. Support all internal and regulatory audits as required. "Support failure analysis investigations and the implementation of corrective actions necessary to reduce or eliminate non conformances. "Drive changes to Design Engineering regarding issues affecting product integrity. "Support the Integrated Product Team (IPT) as an integral team member for the supplier quality function. "Perform supplier audits to supplier’s facility to evaluate adherence to quality requirements. "Drive deployment of Built in Quality improvement findings; lead in the reduction in quality escapes, Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), and support risk assessments. "Lead continuous improvements related to Cost Savings, Quality Measures, Product Cost, Productivity, Escapes, Inventory Reduction Projects and First Pass Yields "Oversee layouts and re-work instructions. "Generate and implement process and product improvements by developing, documenting and training via SOSs (Standard Operating Sheets).

| Requirements: |
"5+ years related experience in engineering (electrical or mechanical) principles, statistics, and Six Sigma techniques.
"Six Sigma Green Belt certification or Black Belt preferred. "Previous experience in the manufacture of aerospace electronics preferred. "Must be familiar with ISO9001, AS9100, NADCAP requirements. "Must be able to organize, prioritize and multitask. "Must be a motivated individual with a bias for action. "Must be proficient at Microsoft Office Suite applications. "Must be able to apply engineering principles to the analysis and solution of technical related issues. "Energetic team player that interfaces well at all levels of an organization. "Excellent communication skills both oral and written. "Knowledge of Six Sigma/ Lean Manufacturing a plus. "Knowledge of SAP a plus.
EDUCATION "Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (electrical or mechanical preferred). |
