| Requirements: | VSC is looking for a qualified candidate to provide Mechanical Source Inspection support as it pertains to Quality Assurance. This project has an expected workload of one (1) day per week on an on-going contract basis in Greenville, SC. All candidates must be highly skilled in performing mechanical inspections utilizing 3D software to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Requirements (must have for consideration): · Heavy mechanical background in the Aerospace industry · Minimum of five (5) years inspection experience including FAIs, in-process and final acceptance · CMM Validation · Extensive DPD experience with 3D software to complete inspections · Adept working knowledge and understanding of GD&T per ANSI Y 14.5 · Previous experience completing First Article Inspections to AS9102 standard · Comfortable working as an Independent Contractor (1099) · Recent inspection experience with commercial aircraft parts, components and assemblies · Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Internet and Email · Good communication and writing skills
