ARINC’s Flight Operations Division is looking for C-130 pilots in the Oklahoma City, OK area. If hired for this position you support ARINC’s Flight Operations through stand-by, part time flight crew missions. Though the main version of the C-130 aircraft you’ll operate is the H model, you could be required to fly other variants as well (including the MC-130P). As a part-time employee you will qualify to participate in ARINC’s 401(k) plan.
Other Responsibilities may include: - Perform C-130 aircraft commander pilot duties in support of flight operations and programs. - Conduct acceptance/functional check flights in Oklahoma City and aircraft pick up/delivery to foreign customers. - Troubleshoot, evaluate, assess and make recommendations regarding aircraft condition, maintenance and performance. - Lead crew members and other pilots in basic pilot duties and functional flight procedures. - Provide resource management on all flight-related aspects of flight operations - Conduct pre and post flight planning, crew management, flight training and other evaluation activities. - Provide C-130 technical support on aircraft operations and performance.

| Requirements: |
To be considered for this position you must possess 1,500 total pilot hours to include 1,000 hours of PIC and 500 hours of instructor time in a C-130. You must also be an FAA certified pilot in this airframe with all the appropriate instrument certifications. Because of the nature of this position you must be willing to work weekends, nights and possibly even holidays.
Other qualifications include:
- Current in a C-130 or non-current for less than 2 years. - Posses a FAA Commercial or ATP license with the appropriate type rating (L382). - Possess past or current designation as an aircraft commander in the C-130 aircraft. - Graduated from a DOD from a DOD C-130 Pilot Training Program. - Qualified (current or past) in Acceptance/Functional Check Flight. - Able to pass an FAA Class II physical and meet applicable physical and physiological requirements.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including US Citizenship, for access to classified information.
Education or Certification Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university, MS degree is desired - One (1) year of applicable engineering testing or instructional experience - Graduated from a DoD C-130 Pilot Training Program or Transition School. |
