Heli-One, the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) division of CHC Helicopter is looking for an Engines Technician III. This position is responsible for the complete overhaul process of applicable engines.
Responsibilities:Uses independent judgment in making decisions requiring interpretation and application or guidelines to specific situationsPerform full engine disassembly with little to no supervisionCleans and inspects disassembled engineNote findings and communicate those results back to the manufacturerCoordinate all steps needed to carry out the repair of the engine in the fieldComplete ground checks, i.e. leak checks, vibration checks, oil pressure check etc.Utilize the instructions of applicable approved manuals used to carry out the tasks assignedPerform tasks required to repair or overhaul units being worked onAdd additional part requirements to the Work OrderMay perform field service dutiesAssist in the instruction of apprenticesInternational travel may be required.May perform other duties as assigned.

| Requirements: |
Qualifications & Experience:A minimum of 5 years relevant working experienceAchieved a, SCA Level III stamping authorityHolder of a valid Powerplant (P) License issued by the FAASufficient training, knowledge and skills to perform Return to Service (RTS) of major repairs and/or alternations after major inspection/repair or overhaul or EnginesCompletion of Gas Turbine Overhaul course at a recognized vocational schoolSelf motivated and results oriented with a focus on qualityAbility to make excellent decisions and set appropriate prioritiesExcellent listening, verbal, and written communicationExcellent collaborative problem solving skillsAbility to work in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environmentDemonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skillsCompletion of initial/update trainingMust be willing to accommodate flexible working schedules, including shifts and overtimeExperience successfully working in a manufacturing environment
