Field Service Representative in support of an LCCS contract for Shorts C-23 Sherpa, a twin turbo-prop multi-role aircraft. The requirement is to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair on all systems of the aircraft. This is a unique job which requires a flexible, self-starting individual motivated by professional pride with attention to detail. The following is a basic list of qualifications: · Must hold and maintain FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate · Must have a current Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance · Must possess a valid US Passport · Must be willing and able to work in hostile environments world-wide for extended periods of time · Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays as required · Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in turboprop aviation maintenance · Shorts and PT6A experience is preferable · Prior experience in troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of avionics systems is desirable · Familiarity with Army Maintenance Management paperwork preferable · Must have basic computer skills · Familiarity with computer based maintenance management programs desirable · Ability to qualify and remain current on engine run and aircraft taxi procedures
