Primary Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to: - Performs all maintenance and repairs on aircraft for which he is assigned and qualified.
- Approves aircraft for return to service after scheduled or unscheduled maintenance for which he/she is authorized and qualified.
- Keeps own work areas clean. Returns all equipment and tools checked out at end of work shift.
- Reports all inoperative or faulty equipment to his/her Supervisor.
- Completes all paperwork for the maintenance he performs.
- Assures that hangar workshops, and other areas assigned are maintained in a safe, secure and orderly manner.
- Assists the Director of Maintenance in maintaining technical manuals in a current status.
- Will have an adequate tool kit.
Qualifications/ Competencies Must hold a valid Airframe, Power Plant or A & P Certificates as appropriate. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Customer Service – Manages difficult or emotional customer situations, responds promptly to customer needs, solicits customer feedback to improve service, responds to requests for service and assistance, and meets commitments. Interpersonal Skills – Focuses on solving conflict through positive collaboration, maintains confidentiality, keeps emotions under control, remains open to others’ ideas and tries new things. |
