Reliance Aerotech Services has contract positions in Andalusia, AL for highly experienced aircraft sheetmetal mechanics with one or more years experience on helicopter airframe/structural installations.

Qualifications :


The applicant must demonstrate that he/she is proficient in aircraft structural workmanship standards and knowledge of aircraft tooling.


The applicant must be able to read and understand engineering drawings, blueprints and provide own tools.


A&P license is a plus.


Bell helicopter experiences a plus.

Duties / Responsibilities :


The Aircraft Sheetmetal Mechanic must:


* Fabricate parts for skin repairs with zero tolerance.


* Install and maintain aircraft structural systems.


* Coordinate with Shift Lead and Engineering on changes to blueprints and diagrams.


* Perform routine checkouts after work has been completed.


* Troubleshoot aircraft structural systems and make necessary adjustments or repairs.

Compensation / Benefits :


Straight Time - $14/hr


Per Diem - $14/hr


Overtime - $30/hr



$150.00 in travel allowance
